O'Neill Solar Backpack

O'Neill have introduced a stylish backpack complete with integrated solar panels and entertainment system. Clearly with skiiers and snowboarders in mind, the backpack will keep your iPod and mobile phone charged while allowing you to control both from the textile control pad on the left shoulder strap. These are linked to the mobile phone via a Bluetooth module which also contains the lithium-ion battery used for holding the solar panel's charge.

As in other systems, an incoming call interrupts the iPod music and gives the user the option of picking up the call by pressing a button on the shoulder strap.

The bag itself is well constructed with an EVA pressure molded shell and back panel, ergonomic shoulder straps and even shovel blade storage.
